1300 Health’s on demand service means that no matter where you are in Australia, you can receive expert healthcare within minutes.
Due to new medicare guidelines announced in January 2022, only some patients will be eligible for bulk-billing. Otherwise, consultations are $65 up-front. This amount can sometimes be claimed on private health insurance, depending on your cover.
The fee will be charged prior to your consultation and includes all prescriptions, medical certificates and referrals.

Bulk billing eligibility:
From January 2022, the government has dictated that only the following medical services can be bulk billed by telehealth:
- Under 12 months of age
- Those in a covid-19 lockdown or hotel quarantine
- The homeless
- Patients who have had a face-to-face consultation with their GP or another GP in the same practice in the 12 months to the service .
Those who are not eligible for bulk billing, a fee applies of $65 per consultation.
We will process the payment over the phone prior to your consultation.
The $65 is a fixed rate for a standard length consultation. For complex cases that require a long consultation, additional fees will apply.
If this is the case – your treating Dr will make you aware of any additional fees before proceeding.
No – Any prescriptions, referrals or requests are included within the consultation cost.
Yes the fee is the same in all states of Australia.
